“Hispanic and Cuban-American Engineers Working for a Better Future”. ACAE, organized in 1960 as the Asociación de Ingenieros Cubanos (AIC) to help Cuban professionals migrating to the United States validate their credentials, has become a professional organization providing scholarships to engineering students, facilitating the studies of existing Cuban infrastructure and providng a networking forum for engineering professionals in the United States.

A Letter to our fellow Cubans

ACAE stands with the brave men and women of Cuba demanding Liberty. For more than 60 years, the Cuban people have struggled against a repressive government that has denied them their basic human rights of free speech and assembly. In addition, the lack of intellectual freedom to the professionals has caused the island to deter of over the years and resulting in crumbling infrastructure and lack of innovation, something that Cubans outside of the island excel in.
